Tom Kier’s personal blade from the 90’s into to the early 2000s. @kier.thomas and I have been training together, training others and solving problems for well over a decade now. He’s been a constant friend, mentor and Tribe member. We’ve trained more people together than I can remember and it’s been good.

Tom gave this blade to a mutual friend of ours approximately 10 years ago. This weekend our mutual friend gave it to me…….and so is Tribe. You can’t take back a blade or ask for one so this is a huge deal for me.

The tactical industry needs to remember, with all the blades everywhere now, that there is no blade thing without Tom and @sayockali . They showed us the way in the mid 2000s and we introduced it to the industry. Some words from Tom ;“This was a production blade from Cold Steel called the mini culloden. when cold steel discontinued them it was the impetus for us to begin to make our own blades which is when we came out with our own blades, a few years after we couldn’t get the Culloden anymore. The mainstays were the Cold steel Culloden and the Cold steel mini pentagon and the Cold steel peacekeeper ll. All those blades needed modifications to be correct but we were ok doing that. When they all got discontinued we’re got into the blade making business. This was true for Atienza and Sayoc”.

For those that know, do not worry, I will keep this blade safe along with @northmanblades final pieces I have for anyone to see when they want.-Kyle Defoor, January 2022
