some folks have asked what tools I use to post on social media etc. this can be an open thread for various tools used to get things done:

    Phone:
-PhotoshopMix – use this to watermark photos w the Sayoc logo

-Pixlr – use this to edit photos and add text before posting to social media

-Evernote – Capture information for future processing

-Pocket – Capture articles for future reading offline getpocket.com

-iTunes Podcasts – a great resource if you have a driving commute and can’t read and drive at the same time.

    PC:
-Surface Pro 3 – tablet/laptop combo that has a great integrated pen that allows me to handwrite in almost any app (not really powerful enough for video editing however)

-OneNote and Evernote – Capture notes and detailed thoughts such as articles in OneNote. Capture ideas and web pages, etc in Evernote. Evernote captures, OneNote for processing and output.

-Photoshop – Batch edit photos for website and do more detailed web type work. My phone apps are actually easier to use for things like water marking and text.

-Adobe Premier Pro – Video editing

-YNAB (youneedabudget.com) – budgeting software that I use personally and for Sayoc NorCal. “Four Rules” and very good software.

    Physical:
-Molskine notebooks – Capture ideas via handwriting in the field notes sized pocketbook that I always carry in my back pocket. Then I take pictures of my notes and upload to Evernote which has handwriting recognition.

-Sharpie pen (not marker) – My current favorite writing utensil.
