    What are Transition Drills?
    Transition Drills are designed to transition new students into Sayoc Kali. The Transition Drills are based on Pamana TUHON’s Correct Response Training. These drills when installed and trained will lay the foundation for the Art Of The Blade.

    4 Response of the Receiver
    Reactionary = Bodies response to a blade entering it.
    Reflexive = Minds Response to a perceived stimulus
    Conditioned = A response that has been trained to a stimulus
    Correct = The best response of all the conditioned responses for a specific stimulus.

    3 Types of Tapping
    1. Pendulum
    2. Corck screw
    3. Funnel

    Transition Drill 1 Template
    1. Carotid Palm Up
    2. Carotid Palm Down
    3. Partial Blue Worm
    4. Middle Thyroid
    5. Internal Jugular
    6. Over Shoulder Thrust “Receiver Cuts Themselves”
    7. Brachial Plexus Palm Up
    8. Heart Palm Down
    9. Blue Worm – J Cut to Brachial
    10. Heart – J Cut Blue Worm

    Transition Drill 1 Level 3 Isolations – Medium Range
    1. LH Clear up and out – Carotid Palm Up
    2. LH Clear Down – Carotid Palm Down
    3. LH Pick wrist – Partial Blue Worm
    4. LH Collapse Elbow – Middle Thyroid Palm Up
    5. LH Tap down breaking wrist – Internal Jugular Palm up
    6. Over Shoulder Thrust “Receiver Cuts Themselves” Concept Cut “No Isolation”
    7. LH Grabs wrist – Brachial Plexus Palm Up
    8. Left Arm Hyperextends receivers arm then then LH collapses elbow – Heart Palm Down
    9. Left forearms pins hand to chest – Blue Worm – J Cut to Brachial
    10. LH Grab Wrist Thrust thru Hand – Heart – J Cut Blue Worm

    Transition Drill 1 – Level 1 Isolations – Projectile Range
    Transition Drill 1 – Level 2 Isolations – Long Range
    Transition Drill 1 – Level 4 Isolations – Close Range “Crashing”
    1. LH Uppercuts Clear up – invert arm and Cup REC ear – Carotid Palm Up
    2. LH Clear Down – RH Elbow – Carotid Palm Down – Thrust brainstem Palm Down
    3. LH Pick wrist – body enters – Partial Blue Worm – LH clothes line PD Kidney – PD Brainstem
    4. LH Collapse Elbow – LH Palm Thrust Face – Cup Back of Head – Middle Thyroid Palm Up
    5. LH Tap down breaking wrist – Internal Jugular Palm up – Arm Lock PD Spinal Cord
    6. Over Shoulder Thrust “Receiver Cuts Themselves” Concept Cut “No Isolation”
    7. LH Grab wrist – Brachial Plexus Palm Up – Back Cut Carotid cutting thru Pec – Thrust Brachial
    8. Left Arm Hyperextends receivers arm then then LH collapses elbow – Heart Palm Down
    9. Left forearms pins hand to chest – Blue Worm – J Cut to Brachial – Palm Up Thrust
