Receiver Grips(12 Count)
– 50/50 control of the blade
– as the Receiver, “the Feeder is holding my blade.”
– at any given time, the Feeder can try to release the blade, & the Receiver should be able to retain
control of the blade.
Feeder: begins drill with Navel Thrust
1.) offlines, & parries with downward shear w/ right arm(left hand closing the seam/high line.
Receiver grip applied underneath the punyo w/ right hand.
Step back and turn over to control weapon arm underneath right armpit, Thumb Shear.
As feeder attempts to withdraw his arm, turn weapon arm back over, collapse at the elbow, thrust to
2.) While maintaining punyo control, pop Feeder’s arm onto your shoulder from underneath.
with 2 hand control, wrist break & and downward thrust to Feeder’s right Sub Clavian.
3.) Manipulate the F’s head by pulling towards you, simultaneously palm up slash Middle Thyroid.
With 2 handed punyo control, wrist break and downward thrust to left Sub Clavian.
4.) 2 handed flashlight grip(control at punyo), Caroid Pluck(F’s right carotid).
5.) Cobra Head Grip, both thumbs on top of F’s blade hand. *Mash down on the hand, almost like
spreading joints apart. Feed blade back into Carotid Slash(right side).
6.) Use the movement of #5 to pass blade to the lowline. Get your left thumb into F’s grip
(Thumb In Grip).
Collapse F’s elbow with right arm, thrust Kidney driving in with hip assist.
7.) Lighting Bolt, Yank/pull arm downward at the wrist, attempting to pull F’s arm out of socket.
8.) Pass the blade back up(counter clockwise), and control underneath the punyo.
With 2 hand control(right arm on top of blade arm), crank F’s arm back(i.e. Ude Garami).
9.) Using the same arm crank, your right arm moves underneath F’s arm, controlling at the punyo.
10.) With Blade Passing Grip, w/ right hand, feed blade back into F’s Right Carotid.
11.) Maintain blade pass grip, and pull F’s arm into Side Break(using your left shoulder as leverage).
12.) Pull F’s arm(elbow down) on top of your left shoulder.
Arm break by cranking downward.
As the feeder withdraws arm, feed blade back into F’s Left Carotid, cranking wrist inward to make
sure contact with cutting edge(if singled edged knife).
