[Mike – Run through 3 of 9 template, focusing on footwork]
DISCUSSIONS:
UNDERSTANDING YOUR TARGETS
– Isolating each move from the transition drills forces one to ensure that you get your target if the receiver does not respond effectively. This ensures that one does not get stuck in “drill mode.”
PRIMARY SECURITY MEASURES
– Money
– Power
– Relationships
– Health
SECONDARY SECURITY MEASURES
– Readiness triangle [Awareness, preparedness, willingness]
The Concept of Killing Your Clone
– If you fought your clone/clones, who would win? You should be better today than you were yesterday. You should strive to know more, develop more skill, train more, rep more than your clone/clones in order to defeat them. Always stay ahead. You should always progress and evolve. Think about how your future self 5-year from now. How would your future self train? Train like your future self.
