In attendance: TBC, Dave, Darryn, Kevin, Patrick, MC.

We continued our long bld work focusing on counters f/both fdr1&fdr2 perspective. Using t/same tactile off-line entry f/previous sessions, fdr2 now counter that move w/t/dollar bill trick to maintain tip-on. Fdr2 can enter in for vt or fdr1 can re-counter to go for t/vt. After awhile we worked on eliciting an emotional response or some type of response f/fdr2 to get their tip off-line. This can be either some type of installing, tapping their bld away or going for their bld hand. In either case, fdr2 eventually gives emotional responses of telegraphic wind ups so fdr1 can hit vt & exit out. As usual, t/most important is maintaining TIP-ON through-out t/entire engagement. Even as you exit out & either roof or wing block, your tip should still point to fdr2. We added an inverted thrust to head region & thrust/cut to femoral as variation attacks.

TBC always talks about t/analogy of thinking that there is a string attached between your opp’s hand & t/tip of your bld. Whenever t/opp brings their hand back to wind up a strike, your tip should follow in(& hit a vt) since that string is pulling your tip to them.

Variation of the training has fdr2 constantly be tip-on to fdr1’s face or body t/whole time while fdr1 tries to elicit response. Eventually fdr2 gives that response to allow entry.

We moved on w/t/same principles using 40in sticks. 3/4 vs 1 or 3 vs 2 where t/majority are zombies.

We finished up going 1 on 1 w/TBC where TBC was throwing a variety of strikes ranging from precise to wild.

MC worked on 3o9 w/long bld as well as some basic long bld concepts. She rejoined t/group during t/zombie drills.
