    Training Group Notes
    October 13, 2015

Attendees: Guro Alfred, Artie and Matt

    Main Concepts
    1) Palasut – Pass
    2) Palabas – Move out
    3) Palasod – Centerline

Worked on 10 count, Kerambit Template (#1 – RH), and Tomahawk Template utilizing the palasut and palabas concepts
Worked the Tomahawk Template with a straight blade utilizing grip changes to optimize the target.

Focused on the 10 count drill and in using the palabas and palasut concepts focused on the following:
    1) Body moves towards target
    2) Left Hand (LH) needs to clear out to get the target with RH – right hand
    3) LH needs to pause/occupy blade hand (opponent RH) to allow RH to move defang and get next target

    Template Work
Using RH (blade hand) to find target and pattern, you can visualize and subconsciously reach and memorize targets. However, can you do the same with the LH (non-bladed hand)? Yes, know both templates and mirror image opposite feed with LH to know where you need to be.
