In the last lesson, we learned a three-count vital template. Your homework for that module was to rep that template:
- In progression: 1, 2, 3
- Backwards: 3, 2, 1
- From the draw (drawing your blade, then hitting each target)
- From outside reactionary gap (1.5 – 2 steps away) then close in to hit the target(s)
Now that we’ve repped the template to the point where we know it backwards and forwards, literally, we can now add in some Receiver skill sets and introduce our basic Sayoc Phase 1 blade “tapping” or parrying.
