Sayoc Kali Sama Sama 2012 was held last weekend, near Orlando, FL, and was yet another excellent event.
First, there were two major organizational highlights from Sama Sama 2012:
**The promotion of Patrick Consing to the rank of Tuhon!

Sayoc Kali has tried to work things out privately with certain individuals who have taken it upon themselvesto take advantage of our silence during these matters.
Due to numerous inquiries behind the scenes and on this forum itself, we would like to set the matter straight.
This is not a personal matter, we do not know these names, but a matter of non qualified individuals attempting to hijack the strong reputation that Sayoc Kali Global has established in thirty plus years in the martial arts community.
There is NO doubt in anyone’s mind who trained ALL the high ranks in Sayoc Kali.You can ask any Tuhon in Sayoc Kali who was teaching them, and who established the legacy of Sayoc Kali.
Not who was their friend or who was there at gatherings: WHO TRAINED THEM.

Sama Sama in the US and in Europe has been completed. Thank you to all the Instructors and Practitioners who attended Sama Sama this year!
While Instructors and Practitioners are being constantly evaluated via information passed through the chain of command, Sama Sama is a chance for everyone to see you and get to know you better in person. Because of this, Instructor rank is often updated after Sama Sama.
