Here are some cool pics of some behind-the-scenes prep-work for an upcoming NCIS: LA fight scene, featuring Sayoc Stick Grappling. Tuhon Raf and Zee at rehearsal this past week. And word on the street is that, if you keep your eyes open, you’ll be able to see some of Tuhon Raf’s artwork as well!

Today we recognize the father of Sayoc Instructor Guro Rich Smith.
The city of Ansonia, CT recently held a ceremony to honor Guro Rich’s father, Alfonso Smith.
Alfonso, also known as “Butch” or “Smitty,” has been a long-time youth sports-league volunteer and Ansonia Recreation Commission member. The 89 year old WWII Veteran was presented with a plaque and a youth league jacket by Mayor James Della Volpe who also named that day as Al Smith Day!

Sayoc Kali Sama Sama 2012 was held last weekend, near Orlando, FL, and was yet another excellent event.

There is NO doubt in anyone’s mind who trained ALL the high ranks in Sayoc Kali.You can ask any Tuhon in Sayoc Kali who was teaching them, and who established the legacy of Sayoc Kali.
Not who was their friend or who was there at gatherings: WHO TRAINED THEM.
