JOIN A TRAINING GROUP
You can join one of the classes already operating. Authorized Sayoc Instructors teach classes. Classes that are outside of driving distance usually host seminars, but still practice regularly and trainees are qualified to test for rank.
Instructors: A listing of current Sayoc Instructors is displayed here . All instructional material is taught by Sayoc Instructors under the Sayoc Kali-Silak Training Association (SKSTA)
START A TRAINING GROUP
A Sayoc Instructor must sponsor the Training Group and Training Group Leader. The Training Group Leader finds a suitable place to train and organizes the persons attending and the schedule of training. The Training Group Leader also schedules seminars with the sponsoring Licensed Sayoc Instructor. The seminars are scheduled at every 6 months. The fee for the seminar is $1000 per 5-hour training day (Domestic) or $1,500 per 5-hour training day (International); in addition to the fee are expenses that include food, travel and accommodations. 1-hour private instruction for the Training Group leader is also included within the above fees.
The Training Groups follow the Apprentice Instructors Course Outline as displayed here. The training hours are applied towards your qualifications to be eligible for Apprenticeship. ALL participants of the training groups are required to be members of the Sayoc Kali-Silak Training Association (SKSTA). This will gain them access to the “members only area and forum” that will provide additional training information.
Training Group Leaders and Training Groups are sponsored by Licensed Sayoc Instructors
You would need the following:
